Dancers are evaluated on technical skill, age, physical potential, maturity, determination and work ethic.
The artistic director and faculty have the final say in all class placement. Evaluations are based on previous seasons and current work going on in the classes enrolled or from the placement audition if you are a new student.
It is common for a dancer to stay in the same program for up to 4 years. We will happily set up a meeting to discuss their progress and evaluate what they need to do to advance in our program.
If you are looking for a more advanced level of training please inquire about our Pre-Professional Program.
